24th-May-2013 08:01 pm - Alice Eve Believes In Aliens

Alice Eve knows aliens, or at least she does in her movies. The British actress has dealt with the topic of extra-terrestrial life quite a bit, as she's appeared in both "Star Trek Into Darkness" and "Men In Black 3," which is fitting since she believes we're not alone.

Do you believe in aliens, ONTD? I believe in Solaris or Blindsight's scenario - that they are indeed real but their existence is beyond our comprehension.

North American rights to Alain Guiraudie's Stranger at the Lake (L’Inconnu du lac) have been picked up by Los Angeles-based Strand Releasing.

The psychological thriller, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section of the fest, stars Pierre Deladonchamps as Franck, a young man who find himself attracted to a man (Christophe Paou) who might be a killer.

24th-May-2013 07:49 pm - Marion Cries

It seems that Marion Cotillard couldn't contain her emotions at a photo call in Cannes on Friday.

Well, she cries beautifully.

Apparently if you are a Bravolebrity the only thing you have to do to get a spinoff is get engaged. High standards over there!

The latest star to announce her foray into the world of wedding spinoffs is Tamra Barney. She's been hinting about it for weeks, but today the Real Housewives of Orange County star confirmed that she and fianceé Eddie Judge will be walking down the aisle on their very own show.

Heather Dubrow is one of Tamra's bridesmaids and Bravo filmed the couple's Las Vegas joint Bachelor/Bachelorette party this weekend. The spinoff is slated to air this fall; right around the same time as NeNe Leakes' wedding spinoff. Good lord.

Tamra told Us Weekly, "I'm so excited to share my wedding with the viewers. They watched every transition I've made and am happy to be giving the opportunity to share our wedding too."

"I couldn't be happier and am thankful to have found Eddie!," Tamra gushed.

I wonder if Gretchen Rossi is next in the spinoff line… Gretchen and Tamra were reportedly competing for wedding shows last season, but with all Slade Smiley's bad publicity and legal issues Bravo promoted Tamra and Eddie's engagement. Gretchen proposed to Slade on film (allegedly) last month.

None of the OC ladies deserve a spinoff IMO, I'm pretty sure this show will be a flop. Any name suggestions?
HIV Activists Pen Open Letter to Tyler Perry For Casting a Bad Light on People Living With the Disease

The Positive Women’s Network of the United States of America penned a letter and created a petition slamming director Tyler Perry for coming up with a plot they feel is offensive to those living with HIV, demanding a meeting with him immediately.

For more info about the movie "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" (Jurnee Smolett, Vanessa Wiliams, Kim Kardashian), check out this post for the trailer, and this post for the controversy.

Tyler portrays the character who has the disease like a villain, closeted homosexual and/or monster. Collapse )
